Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
FlowBase is built with a local-first approach, prioritizing user control and minimal data collection.
This Privacy Policy explains how data may be processed when you visit the FlowBase website, purchase FlowBase, contact support, or use the FlowBase app.
1. Local Data Storage
FlowBase stores workspace data locally in the user’s browser.
This may include client data, deals, pricing inputs, offers, notes, revenue targets, and workflow information.
This workspace data is not hosted by FlowBase on our own servers as part of the current MVP version.
Because FlowBase is local-first, clearing browser storage, switching browsers, changing devices, or using browser privacy tools may remove your workspace data.
Users are responsible for exporting and storing backups securely.
2. No Account Required
The current version of FlowBase does not require users to create a cloud account to operate the app.
Access is provided through a license key.
3. Purchases & Payments
When you purchase FlowBase, the information needed to complete your order and deliver access may be processed.
This may include your name, email address, billing details, order details, payment status, and license delivery information.
Checkout and payments are processed through Shopify and its payment providers.
FlowBase does not directly store or process payment card details.
4. Digital Delivery & License Verification
Digital delivery and license emails may be handled through LDT Digital Downloads or another digital delivery provider.
Limited information such as order details, email address, product purchased, license key, and delivery status may be processed in order to deliver your access.
If license validation is used, limited technical data may be processed to verify access rights.
5. Email Communication
If you contact FlowBase by email, your email address, message content, and related support information may be used to respond to your inquiry and provide support.
6. Analytics
FlowBase does not rely on invasive tracking.
If analytics or advertising pixels are used, they may collect limited technical and usage information such as page visits, referral source, browser/device information, and basic performance data.
This information may be used to understand website performance, improve the product, or measure marketing performance.
7. User-Controlled Data
Users can export their FlowBase data from the app.
Users are responsible for storing backups securely.
8. Data Responsibility
Because FlowBase is local-first, users are responsible for maintaining their own data integrity and backups.
FlowBase is not responsible for workspace data lost due to browser storage clearing, device changes, browser changes, device loss, or failure to export backups.
9. Third-Party Services
FlowBase may use third-party services for checkout, payments, digital delivery, email delivery, hosting, analytics, or support.
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
10. Data Sale
We do not sell your personal data.
